The cottage has been lovingly restored, providing luxury accommodation for four people in a double and a twin room. The cottage is on National trust property 200 yards from the road so peace and quiet are assured. The view has recently been voted the eighth best in Britain. Some would say it was a travesty it did not come higher!

The poet R.S. Thomas was the vicar in Aberdaron for many years and spent the last years of his life in Rhiw. There is a magical quality to the light and the closeness to nature lends the area an almost mystical air. Pilgrimage island Bardsey purportedly where 20,000 saints are buried lies just off the coast of Aberdaron.

Bodowen is a charming mid-terraced cottage, situated in the hilltop village of Rhiw on the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales. It has unrivalled views across Hell’s Mouth, Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia. Rhiw is 3 miles from Aberdaron and 8 miles from Abersoch close to many fine beaches and two golf courses. Fine walks to suit all abilities can be started from the front door.
